About Us

Three Pheasants farm is a small farm on the south side of Lummi Island facing the Rosario Strait looking towards Orcas Island. We bought the farm in 1999 and initially planted many kinds of vegetables and flowers to sell at the local farmers market. In the year 2000 we planted an acre of lavender, a long row of delicious raspberries and around 70 fruit trees and to this day they keep our farm running strong. All our produce is grown without any pesticides, sprays, chemicals, or have preservatives. They are grown with water and sunlight and the earth.

Our Story

Starting in 1999

When Sharron Antholt was viewing properties on the Island in 1999, she could not find any that cought her eye. As it so happened, she took a wrong turn trying to leave the island and looked to her surprise a woman hammering in a "For Sale" sign just to her left. She drove right up and booked an appointment to view the house the next day and bought it. Sharron continues to say that this is her heaven on earth and that Lummi Island has remained magical to her still to this day.

When on the property they noticed three wild pheasants that lived there and from that point the name was established. The pheasants are no longer there, or on the island, but the name stuck and still recognizes the wildlife of the island. Though they are gone the beauty of the farm remains and you can take in the views while cutting your lavender or obtaining our other produce.
